The ashes of Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of the smartly-liked sketch sequence “Spongebob Squarepants,” had been reportedly unfold at sea days after his loss of life.
Hillenburg, fifty seven, passed away on Nov. 26 after a battle with ALS, in step with Nickelodeon. He bought his prognosis with the debilitating condition ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, in March 2017.
The creator of “Bikini Bottom” became cremated and had his ashes scattered in the ocean, TMZ reported Thursday.
Hillenburg became formerly a marine biologist who created the loved engaging sequence in accordance to his take care of of the ocean. He conceived, wrote, produced and directed “Spongebob,” which started in 1999 and went on to spawn a entire bunch of episodes, motion photos and a Broadway demonstrate.
Hillenburg is survived by his wife of twenty years Karen, son Clay, mom, and a brother, Brian Kelly Hillenburg.
